This is the basic difference between Hakka Noodles and Chowmein. There is no major difference in the cookings tyle of chowmein. Chowmein and Hakka Noodles are known to be the same dish across the world.Hakka Noodles & Instant Noodles – What is the difference? Instant Noodles like Maggi are fried while the Hakka noodles like Chings are dried during the manufacturing process of noodles. Instant Noodles hence gets cooked in 2-3 minutes while Hakka Noodles takes slightly more time of 5-6 minutes to get cooked. Hakka noodles are Indian-Chinese style noodles made with unleavened refined wheat flour. These are boiled al dente and then stir fried in a Chinese wok with oil, vegetables & soya sauce. Here hakka noodles refers to both the final dish and the type of noodles used. There are a lot of brands selling hakka noodles.
